General specifications for all of our models
The models are very carefully crafted with a lot of careful hand fitting each one to final completion. They are of the highest standard both in materials and workmanship. The models are 100% made in the United States by Americans. They are not imported. The models are not cheaply made things purchased from a relic shop, tourist supply company or flea market.....they are nowhere close.
The main materials used in producing the models are brass and wood.
The barrels are machined from industrial brass bar and this material is the highest quality available from the best brass mills. Metal fittings are made from brass as well. The woodwork is produced from northern grown heirloom quality American Walnut.

Barrel Base: Flat, female threaded for mounting to

Note: Some thunder mugs had a flanged base, but not all of them. This model
may be mounted on an optional base if desired. With or without base, both are
correct. Some thunder mugs had a handle, but again, not all. You may choose to
add a base and handle if you wish. The model is patterned after a Spanish original
which has neither a flanged base or a handle.
